Doug has always provided his rationale when posting. Lot's of material to challenge as a result, but let's challenge the material, not the messenger.

From my perspective, Doug may have cause to be enamoured by what he thinks will be INTC's next generation performance in the very near term.

Where I remain most skeptical of Doug's posts is in his implicit notion that INTC can ramp its new technology at a rate approaching the speed of light, when the likelihood, based upon the history of "new generation ramps" is more like a snail's pace.

For me, the implied rapid ramp of new generation INTC "stuff" is the basic fallacy underlying Doug's new found Sharikouesque-like Intelmania ;-)

PS. What is truly difficult to understand is why he thinks that INTC can ramp a new process at rates far surpassing those we have witnessed with AMD's new generation Opteron technology.
