So something quad core should be demoed soon. The only thing quad core that AMD gave a hint of is K8L.

Well.....seems like the QC K8L tape out/first silicon issue is settled. I think this means DC K8L must be much further along. Maybe an early Q1 07 launch is possible. That would be great.

There's the late 2007 supposedly **non-K8L** "Deerfield" QC that DailyTech mentioned. Followed in H208 by a K8L QC.

It is possible that they are wrong about the late 2007 QC being K8-based, I guess.
