Unlike you I am planning on holding on. I expect in May 2007 that prices will be around where they are today.
I think maybe we are both right. You pay capital gains taxes of 15%. Here in Ontario they are 27%. You have trivial brokerage commissions buying through Ameritrade etc. There is no such thing here for Canadian stocks. Two commissions can easily add up to almost a percent, that's with a socalled discount broker.
For the US I see stagflation.
