Rightwing radio is like industrial pollution. It's bad for you, sickening and a product of mega-corporate radio. Hannity and Limbaugh are RNC-connected propagandists who have taken part in several totally phony smear campaigns against democrats. They know they're lying but don't care. Any slander they can put out there they will without concern for accuracy or morality. They are serial liars and that has been proven over and over. In fact, Al Franken every day runs clips of Limbaugh and Hannity's most recent outright lies. And it's very clear that about 25% of what they say is the opposite of truth and reality. O'Reilly isn't much better and guys like Savage are merely neo KKK types posing as legitimate commentators, but spewing oscene racial and social hatred, intolerance and rightwing extremism into the airwaves. Air America is doing just fine, though Ed Schultz is The Man. Air America and Schultz do not have mega corporate big money sponsorship the rightwing talkies do. They are indies and are growing gradually. Though not subsidized like many righty shows, they also are not beholden to any corporate special interests like the entire Fox News and Clear Channel crowd are. You know, of course, that hundreds of millions of rightwing corporate money has been poured into rightwing radio, often propping up the shows. The radio wave bandwidth they hoard was purchased for them. They did not win it independently. Frankly though whatv we really need are unbiased radio shows. Get rid of the rightwing propagandists, no need for Air America types and let Americans honestly and fairly debate and discuss important matters. But rightwing radio has ruined and polluted that fair debate. Polluted it with lies and smears.
