ABMC Awarded Drug Testing Contract in Missouri Wednesday October 17, 9:00 am ET KINDERHOOK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Bio Medica Corporation (NASDAQ: ABMC - News) announced today that they have been notified by the Office of State Courts Administrator of the Supreme Court of Missouri that they have been awarded a contract to supply drug courts in the State of Missouri with ABMC's point of collection drug testing products, more specifically its Rapid TOX® and Rapid Drug Screen® products. ABMC's devices will be used in drug courts located throughout the State of Missouri. There are currently 108 drug court programs in the State of Missouri with approximately 3,000 participants. The contract began in late September 2007 and will run through late September 2008. While the Company cannot put a value on the contract for the coming year, last year the State of Missouri drug court programs spent in excess of $300,000 for their drug testing supplies.

ABMC Launches New All Inclusive Drug Test Wednesday October 24, 9:00 am ET KINDERHOOK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Bio Medica Corporation (NASDAQ: ABMC - News) announced today that they have launched, and have begun shipping, another new point of collection drug test, the patent pending Rapid TOX Cup™; an all inclusive drug testing cup. Available in multiple combinations according to the customer’s needs, the Rapid TOX Cup is an accurate, easy to use drug screen. The Rapid TOX Cup doesn’t require any manipulation of the device; the donor simply voids into the cup. Its wide mouth and larger cup allow for easier specimen collection. A temperature strip is affixed to the cup to ensure specimen integrity, with the option to add a specimen validity test strip. Results obtained with the Rapid TOX Cup can also be photocopied for record keeping purposes. Its fully integrated design permits collection, testing and shipment for confirmation in one device.
