I think you can count on it. If the US doesn't go after Iran, then Israel will. The US won't let that happen. It's just a question of "when" rather than "if". This has little to do with domestic politics though whichever party is out of favor will always talk about it in those terms.

At the time when Israel declares privately to the US that she will no longer wait for failing diplomacy, it will make no difference which party is in power in the US ... the fuse will be lit and the US will go it alone or with whomever chooses to join us.

There is ZERO chance of the US attacking Iran imo Iran holds ALL the cards.
