Well, and of course, the cache structure has built in redundancy, precisely so it WON'T impact yields that much. True, the overall die size matters, but I think Occam's razor applies here, and the simplest explanation for Rahul's "concern" about Core2 yields is as I have already stated: As an AMD blog booster, he needs to find *something* negative to say about Core2, even if he needs to invent it.

And of course, an imagined yield issue doesn't fit together with Groo's news about Woodcrest being faster, cooler and EARLIER than expected.
