You'd have to define "even mildly competitive" for me to answer.

What do you think will happen if AMD is behind on average performance by 15% in a given segment? 20%? 25%?

Lots of other factors. Availability will be governed by manufacturing costs, which will affect demand etc. We don't know how the whole thing will shake out. And that is what was being referred to, how the whole thing will shake out.
