Rightwing radio hosts are mainly big LIARS. Their positions have have gotten people in a froth after 9-11, but upon any scrutiny they're totally full of it. Some of the whoppers I've heard from Hannity and Limbaugh are: - The war in Iraq will only last a few weeks - The war will all be paid for by Iraqi oil - Bush was a fighter pilot and John Kerry a coward/traitor - Lowering taxes increases revenues - Clinton was a poor president who gave us a recession - Reagan ended the Soviet Union - Clinton was offered Osama and turned him down - Bush is only spying on terrorists in this country - Bush gets a warrant every time he spies on people - Peace activists are "evil" - Democrats would cause major deficits - Tom Delay is being persecuted by the liberal media - Jack Abramoff gave millions to democrats etc. etc. - none of the above being in any way true, of course. Yet if you listen to Al franken, for instance, I'll bet you can't find a single thing he says which isn't proveable fact. And he will go out of his way to prove it using actual tapes, etc.
