Doug "I take it you have no problems at all with this one" Two wrongs don't make a right. But beyond that, your faith comments start to sound like an attack on someone's religion, which is not cool.

"As it happens, I'll be traveling for a week starting tomorrow,"

Sounds good, it will be interesting to hear your perspective at that point.

As it happens, I'll be traveling for a week starting tomorrow, so you can look forward to minimal posting from me.

Dude, you definitely need a vacation. Posting a couple hundred times a day must be stressful. :)

What I stated was correct and without error according to the source I clearly cited from DELL, their earnings statement. You still have not pointed out anything on record from DELL saying that they will release Conroe desktops in Q2.

What burns me is that I had already corrected the claim about no Woodcrest until end of year based on the powerpoint slides DELL released. But you insisted on repeating the original post anyway.

Doug claimed that I said:

Intel isn't shipping Conroe and Woodcrest until the end of the year. (Petz)

In reality, I never said anything about Intel, just DELL. (no promise of Conroe desktops in Q2, no promise of Merom notebooks until "fall")

In reality, I had retracted the statement about Woodcrest based on the slides shown during DELL conference call. But that info was not in the earnings release itself.

I believe Intel will ship some Conroe parts in July as scheduled. But the lack of a promise from DELL to release desktop Conroe by the end of July, or even the end of October, but only "end of year," says something about the volumes we might expect.
