"A county assemblyman, what a big catch." No doubt on the right wing blogosphere, they are playing this one up big. With Hookergate, Abramoff and the other scandals threatening to send dozens of Republicans to jail, they need some thin reed to support the meme that it is just something systematic, that they really haven't proven they are worse that what they replaced. Not that the Democrats when they controlled Congress were paragons of virtue, but when you examine the scandals that were used to drive those Democrats out of office, it is almost amusing. Like children playing at corruption...
