Yes, yes, I agree. The Chinese are completely insignificant. A comprehensive understanding of global economics has absolutely no need to incorporate 1/4 of the world's population. If they don't start giving us some respect, we might have to stop selling our valuable Treasuries to them.

I think you might want to do some research on the gold buying habits of the Chinese. It appears they really like the stuff.

Did you know they are planning an EFT in the next few months where the Average Joe in China can trade without storage fees or transfer costs?

"The four largest banks in China who are sponsoring the Chinese gold ETF — the Bank of China, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the China Construction Bank and the Agricultural Bank of China — can’t wait around to start buying the needed gold bullion. They will have to start buying physical gold now in order to back the ETFs that will soon be issued."
