If VALKYRIES drilling campaign in the Caspian Sea becomes a success the company can become bigger than Lundin Petroleum over night.
"If the Caspian Sea becomes as great as we believe, we're gonna be really big really fast. It could add several billions to the company's market capital", says Lukas Lundin.

B O,
I believe you mean millions and not billions.
Agree with you and Crossy on this one.
Prospects appear large on VPC's Lagansky block and trend with the discovery of Lukoil.
One well from Lukoil and they are up to 600 million bbls of reserves. Wow. Will be interesting to follow both Lukoil and VPC over the summer.

An update to info on no dry holes ever: Lukoil drilled two of those in the North Eastern parts of Caspian Sea. Far east of
Vladimir Filanovsky adjacent to the discovery made by Lukoil at Rakushechnoye recently. They discovered an 80 meter column of oil testing 11,000 bpd and VPC will drill this summer in
the same play: Lagansky /Vladimir Filanovsky considered "low risk" or having a very good chance to find a huge amount for such a small company in this prospect in less than 2 months. Always a risk. But I would say better betting on this one in this dip than never take this opportunity.

Net Asset Value according to the company as of August
~ CAD 15 / share and last Private Placement CAD 11,5. They are the fastest growing Lundin oiler and can rather quickly triplicate (or more) their reserves / production.

The company plans to be listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange this autumn in case of successful drilling. I bet it will be.

Valkyries Petroleum Corp. also recently signed a binding agreement to purchase ...
ccnmatthews.com
..and rumours has it more is to follow Offshore Kalmykia further extending their operations. This one is a must have with possibilities of reaching CAD 20 this summer and CAD 50 in 2006!
