Tim, I don't know how closely you have looked the present teaching situation in our public schools.

He didn't say its bad, he said its falling down. That implies it is getting worse. It may well be getting worse, I'm not saying it definitely isn't, but arguments about how bad it is now don't demonstrate that it is getting worse.

As for bankruptcy I think it is a massive exaggeration. Our economy is not only the largest but also is growing at a decent clip. The deficit is too high for my tastes but it is only moderately high as a % of our GDP. Certainly it isn't literally true that "Our paper money isn't worth the ink used to print it", and even as a figure of speech that is a stretch. By most definitions our currency would still be considered hard currency.
