Berger was merely lazy and pocketed a few copies rather than transcribing them. The rightwing acts like this is some serious crime. It's no more serious than going through a redlight. It didn't hurt anyone and he paid his library fine. If you want serious corruption crimes, look at the Bushie energy gouging, Halliburton fleecing us in Iraq, Cheney, Delay, Cunningham, Rove, Libby, Bush, Abramoff, Frist, Doolittle, Ney, etc. Also, Berger was warned about the 1999 LAX Al Qaida attack and stopped it. Bush-Rice were warned onn 8-6-01 about impending Al Qaida attacks and did nothing. We know what happened next. We can forgive Berger's library infraction. His actions as security advisor saved LAX, the biggest US airport on the west coast. What terrorist attack did Rice ever stop? And why did she lie about the WMD?
