Seems Iran has already accumulated high levels of Uranium. Hope it doesn't give Bush the evidence he needs to attack Iran.

"UN inspectors have discovered new traces of very highly enriched uranium on nuclear equipment in Iran, deepening suspicions that Tehran may still be concealing the full extent of its enrichment program, diplomats said.

Several Western diplomats said there were signs that Iran was continuing to pursue uranium-enrichment research in secret and fears that Tehran's goal was to acquire the capability to produce enriched-uranium fuel for weapons - a charge that Iran denies.

In a report in April to the UN Security Council, the International Atomic Energy Agency said it had taken samples from equipment that had been acquired by a research center at Lavizan-Shiyan, linked to the Iranian Defense Ministry.

The center was razed in 2004 before inspectors could examine it.

The inspectors of the UN agency took swabs from vacuum pumps earlier this year that were subjected to particle analysis, diplomats said. Vacuum pumps are needed when enriching uranium with a cascade of interconnected centrifuges, although the pumps have other uses.

"Preliminary analysis by the IAEA showed traces of highly enriched uranium in the samples," a Western diplomat accredited to the UN agency said on the condition of anonymity.

The uranium traces showed a "very high level of enrichment, close to weapons-grade," the diplomat said. Nuclear power plants require only low- grade enriched uranium for fuel."
