Bush eliminated capital gains for some people, he did. In 2008, the 5% rate drops to 0%, and in 2009, all capital gains rates revert to their pre-2003 levels unless new legislation is passed. " correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that say so clearly? If I made a mistake about this, I apologize, but it looks clear to me. for the billionaire set though, the reduction in capital gains helps create a permanent idle upperclass who pay far less tax than workingclass people who get all those payroll taxes taken out of their paychecks.

Try to find one instance where I lied. Anything. A generalization is not a lie. But you're right I will be more careful in the future not to over-generalize. And you should be too. Like when you call democrats "socialists" when some of our greatest capitalist leaders are proud liberal democrats.
