I don't see why not. According to the guidelines I proposed, the AG would not be a subordinate of the president. The DOJ becomes another body of the government equal to the supremes, congress, and executive. The DOJ has authority and power to investigate and bust crimes and official conduct of federal reps no matter who the perp is. The DOJ would be checked and balanced by the other bodies of course. They are supposed to be the cops for fed stuff, and we all keep saying no one should be above the law... but the feds seem to be.
