You are the one running around like his head was cut off. You are too chicken to admit you were wrong. You pronouncements of what should have happened are in conflict of what happened.

I wish that lead times were zero too! Then Intel would be a practically bankrupt company like SGI and we wouldn't be having this conversation. AMD would have high performing CPUs in all segments, be making billions and AMD investors would be filthy rich.

But alas, the real world has lead times. 13 weeks (wafer start to packaged product), a year (IT CPU and system qualification) and 3-5 years (start of design to next generation CPU core) are the typical ones.
