And on the nominal most economists think the inflation numbers are understated; almost all consumers think they are understated.

And below the median of ~$23K, imagine how many of those folks are actually doing worse. Those are the working poor.

JCP, it's funny how the ratio between the median and the average constantly went down during the Clinton years. That's a sign that the rich got richer during the Clinton years, no?
