I remember that era. Lyndon Johnson had absolutely NO redeeming qualities as a man or a politician, and he got 64% of the vote. Kennedy would have had no problem at all.

The womanizing stuff was UF0-like rumor for years. Some of us still don't buy in, and I certainly wasn't a Kennedy fan. I just doubt that any legitimate historical scholar-even were he to spend his otherwise valuable time on it-would ever prove anything except that it's popular tabloid drivel. It fits a public demand, so there will always be people willing to write "documentaries" on it. It beats workin' for a living...
