NOLA is a pretty interesting place right now (though it always has been). Depending on your perspective... you've got a racist thing or a perseverance thing going on. That was a pretty good article.

I think its a money thing. If you have the money, you get to stay; if you don't you're out of luck. Plus, I don't get how the 9th Ward is out of bounds for construction, but Lakeview, which is even more under sea level, gets to rebuild. IMO someone's been sold down the river.
