The 800MHz Opteron demos were "rock solid 1st silicon", but targets of catcalls as to speed from the Itanic crowd. Ideally it would need to be running at a higher frequency than the recent 2GHz Clovertown demo. Acheiving higher clock-for-clock performance than Clovertown in 64-bit Cinebench 9.5 would make an even bigger impression. Cinebench has not been shown to be very friendly to Yonah or NGA so far. hkepc.com
