Consciousness is a mystery. It may be nothing more than when a computing mechanism has enough power a sense of self develops. Will quantum computers have consciousness?

John Wheeler "the grand priest of quantum theory" is working in existance itself. He is about 96-so he knows time is short-his last project.

The one thing about "intellegent design" that has always drivien me NUTS-LOL, is when people say "well it is too complex to have evolved so it had to be created by a god.

Well, would not the god have to be even more complex than what the god created. So where di the god come form? So then when one asks that quesiton the answer usually is"well god has always existed".

Then using sequential logic why couldn't the universe have always existed-lol.

LOGIC

<Consciousness is such a mystery that it hasn't even really become a subject of scientific study.>

Yes, it's hard to study the microscope... with the microscope itself :)

I quantum physics/particle physics "the observer" seems to affect everything. In the famous double slit experiment scientists have found no way to fool the partcles in to NOT knowing they are being observed. The particles always know??

And the particles also seem to be able to go back in time?

True. It brings up the image of the snake swallowing its own tail.
