Houston, summer 2000, my parents heard the cocktail party buzz from oil exec wives that Enron, Bush-Cheney and all the rest were deliberately and gleefully sticking it to Calfornia. Ed Gillespie and Rove were the gobetweens. Enron and Bush-Cheney were inseperable at the time they were ripping the west coast off of 30 billion bhucks, and stealing from you you, bubba. The energy gouging stalled for awhile when Dems took back the senate, then resumed. Since then gasoline prices have doubled and they continue lying about it, saying "market forces" are responsible. Or whomever else they can blame.
