Another one of those angry exercises in venting that says nothing about what to do with the 12 million illegals already in the country or the impossibility of stemming the flow of new illegals by much, just that they want to snap their fingers and make it all go away.

There is an op-ed in the Washington Post today by a think tank academic along the same lines. No discussion about solutions, just how awful it is not to believe we can wish the whole problem away if we are tough enough and care enough.

Just click your heels together three times and keep repeating....

In case you don't know, in 1996 the federal government outlawed illegal aliens getting federal government entitlements except for K-12 education and emergency medical care.

However, the states are not prohibited from giving illegals benefits from state coffers, and California is one state that does.

It would be a mistake to extrapolate from California to the rest of the country.
