There was an article from www.eet.com that I posted here last year. It went over the issues. A large part of the problem is that the exact state individual atoms are in at the time of processing starts to make a difference. So that needs to be compensated for in later processing steps.

It has been running with 65nm ever since they started process development, so yes.
