Believe it or not, Nagin was the conservative choice! His white opponent was much more liberal.

Why do rightwingers attack Nagin? Because the real culprit for Katrina was on vacation at the time doing photo ops and making phony speeches wishfully comparing himself to FDR.
Bush and his FEMA were more to blame than the deluged locals.

The rightwing keeps attacking Nagin, despite the fact he is the pro-business Chamber Of Commerce guy, while Landrieu was the traditional people-first democrat.
