You're the one being paranoid. I've lived in LA for 25 years. We have millions of Mexicans here, and not once has any one of them negatively impacted me in any way. And I'm a middlewestern white guy with the same DNA as rightwing racists. I know what it means to feel "whites first" in one's blood. But these Mexican-Americans seem harmless. What are you scared of anyway? Are they gonna cost you? My property taxes just went down. S0 much for the argument that Mexicans are bankrupting us. Maybe they even contribute more than they take. Very likely. They certainly do all the manual labor. So we don't have to. And many of them do pay taxes. That said, I have been for closing the borders as best we can for 40 years. I never understood why they were left open. Maybe because of leaders like Bush who has supported illegal immigration all his life.
