How many of us growing up would have pictured a US in 2006: * With neo-fascists erecting fences along the US/Mexico border? * With the FBI seizing documents out of Congressional offices?? * With perpetual war - right from the Cold War to Desert Storm I, then to Iraq II, now threatening Iran? Remember before Iraq II they briefly were kicking around the idea of getting into a conflict with China? Well it had to be something to feed the machine. * More military attrocities: torture, killing civilians in cold blood, now detaining over 60 children in concentration camps in Guantanamo - some as young as 14 - without a trial. Yeah - remember this on your Memorial Day Weekend also - when you are inundated with images of flags, and sacrifice. Remember how many have died in vain because they were lied to by their own US Government - and told they were fighting for freedom - instead of the truth - they are being misled and used as cannon fodder for the US elite's own financial and political purposes. This is not your Father's US of A.
