nothing about DELL's announcent on the afternoon of 5/18 seems well thought out

but it sure worked out for them didn't it ? they announced an %18 profit decrease and their stock went up.

LOL.. re:Is there any evidence that AMD knew DELL would make this announcement at this time? Hector has speculated/hinted that DELL would become a customer, but he's been saying that for two years. The hints have been a little stronger of late and maybe that's all I/we could expect.

When Intel has a partner they are on the stage with them at the announcement. Think Apple....
