Whenever Drudge puts out a story about a democrat, 90% of the time it's a fabricated smear. I think the RNC uses Drudge to do some of their dirty work. Drudge is sludge. Just like Newsmax and the rest, paid liars when it comes to partisan issues.

As for Nagin, the rightwing has been attacking him since day one to distract from the fact Bush and FEMA were the #1 culprits in the Katrina disaster, and everyone knows it. Remember, Nagin was just in New Orleans, but the Katrina negligence was over 500 miles of coastline. Bush and FEMA neglected them all.

Why shouldn't they? He's a bit of an ass, and Landrieu is more progressive.

Time to question Tommy Franks's judgement. This is the guy who, while admittedly an honorable lifelong soldier, let Osama get away at Tora Bora (no explanation, and why did Bush allow it?) went along with Bush-Rumsfeld's terrible pre-planning in Iraq (allowing looting of Saddam's ammo bunkers which made most of the IED's) and endorsed Bush even though he knew he'd totally screwed up the war, lied about it and gotten thousands of US GI's killed because of it.

No more putting Franks on a pedestal. He has some serious explaining to do.

Wes Clark took out the bad guy Milosovic without a single US casualty. Now there's a general we can all be proud of.

It will be interesting to see if this story has legs. Tsk, tsk, Howard Dean at work again.

DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE WORKED TO DEFEAT NAGIN

You don't believe everything you read at drudge, do you? He gets as many wrong as he gets right.
