Clinton did not blunder into Iraq, lie to the nation about Saddam's supposed nuclear program and occupy the country without a plan. Bush did. Clinton is irrelevant to this debate.

Clinton did the right thing by keeping Saddam contained at the same time maintaining the geopolitical balance in that region. Iran did not have the courage to challenge Clinton by going nuclear as they have done to Bush after drawing encouragement from the Bush bungle in Iraq.
