McNamara was a traitor to the United States. Your pal LBJ (the foul-mouthed, Great Society loser) ran the war from the Oval Office like Hitler in his bunker, and like Der Führer, overrode his generals and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Not allowing troops past the DMZ and making our troops basically use weapons that were comparable to the Viet Cong's when we had far superior weapons we could have used held in abeyance, these and a multitude of other factors made us "lose" a war against a bunch of sniveling fanatics who now are begging for capitalists to come and enrich their country.
