I don't know about 1964 since the likely 2008 nominee won't be someone strongly to the right of Bush (unlike Goldwater vs. Nixon or Eisenhower) but 1992 looks very possible.

OTOH, McCain is running well ahead of all Democratic challengers in the early polls. I think the race is wide open if the Republican nominee is not a Bush standard bearer.
