Why should that surprise you? That point seems to still be argued here on a daily basis by some pretty smart people..

I do wonder if anyone else besides me has changed their opinion on this from say a year ago? Back then I thought reflation was a failed attempt to grow out of all the debts via housing and credit bubbles.

Now I believe the evidence is compelling higher energy and RE prices are being passed through. We are in reflation, stagflation, declining purchasing power of your dollar and much higher costs of living this next cycle.. The regional housing downturn underway is a sideshow as some of us often point out...
