Those of us intelligent enough to understand what took place don't need any more explanations.

I actually thought your exchange with AS was instructive in that the whole matter was vetted out in the open and everything was made quite clear. We have AS's ignorance and callowness to thank for that. Unbeknownst to it, the case against Clinton and democrats in general was fortified as a result of its stubborn empty-headedness.

Historically Clinton will go down as a tainted President because of his lies to the American people. And by AS refusing to acknowledge his, and dems foibles in general, you had the opportunity to elaborate.

;)

The truly sad thing is that nearly a decade later we are still discussing Clinton's criminal conduct and that there are some partisans who still cling to the notion that liberals are immune to justice.

"Perjury if gone unpunished would eliminate the need for a judicial system. No witness need fear legal reprisal for perjury, thus they can testify to advance whatever end they desire."
Peter Dierks - 1998

"Even if there was a nasty conspiracy"

There was, and Hillary led it. She directed the insidious attacks against the judicial system, and against the news media that occasionally chose to publish the truth. She is most likely the most reprehensible first lady every.

"it was a crime, not just in the sense that it was something that violates a law in some technical way, but rather that it is something that attacks out system of laws, which Clinton was supposed to be supporting and defending."

Exactly. For some reason liberals and democrats choose to be color blind to this, and cling to the propaganda that Hillary pushed out about perjury is ok when it is about sex. Under her standards we could never convict anyone of prostitution or solicitation. Would pedophilia would be ok with her too?
