Geez......cost of land, cost of local labor, cost of bulk purchases of material from suppliers and shipping charges to get the materials to the site, desire for low or high profit margin and ability to get it from the marketplace........need we think further? We could think forever, unless we're actually in the building biz and know how it's working in particular areas.
