Yes they both spend too much. But republicans pass legislation that makes it easier for corporation to pollute so they can make more money. That has nothing to do with budget concerns. Democrats pass legislation that hold corporations accountable for the crappy practices and shoddy products.

Do they both go too far? Yes. But I would rather be over protected than over polluted.
