I wonder if Hyperthreading would tend to do more harm than good where four physical cores would already be choked with a 1066MHz FSB in many scenarios. Intel didn't have Hyperthreading enabled in their dual-socket Clovertown Cinebench demo a few weeks ago. Perhaps they were just trying to keep it under wraps yet at that point.
