I distinctly remember one of those forensic pathologist shows that talked about a frozen body being chipped and dumped into a river, and the only thing they found was a tooth.

That's a true story. I don't remember the details but a man killed his wife and put her through a chipper, but they found the tooth and that was enough to convict him.

Googled it, the man was Richard Crafts.
