Jefferson would call for Bush's impeachment in a nano-second. Everything Jefferson stood for Bushies are trying to tear down. Truth in government, ethics, the power of a free press, checks and balances, respecting public opinion, fair and honest debates, the art of compromise, no president being above the law, separation of church and state and the firm stance against wannabe tyrants. Jefferson would have been more alarmed by Bush-cheney that he was by the British.
