Bush's brother cut 57,700 mainly legal voters off the Florida rolls, deliberately picking names which were African-American sounding, all of whom were called ex-cons, though that was only judged by name and apporoximate birth date, no SS numbers or addresses or anything else. 8,000 of those names were supplied by the Texas Governor's office. It was a clear and deliverate attempt to weed out black voters. Other dirty tricks were also used in Florida 2000 to minimize black voter turn-out. all stuff from the Jim Crow Dixie era.

Gore received 90% of the black votes.

Bush "won" by 527 votes.

The NAACP used Jeb Bush afterward and won an out of court settlement, Jeb promising to not do it again in 2004. But he tried to and was busted by the Miami Herald.

Also, the Bush campaign suddenly reported thousands of new "military votes" coming from overseas after the election date. Lieberman stated they should be counted. But many if not all of them were illegal votes, and it was obviously a GOP attempt to stuff the ballot box after the fact.

Gore won. But didn't win. Bush won. By cheating.
