Bush lied. He promised to go to war as a last resort. He lied. Both to congress and ther American people. He went to war as a first resort. Now we know he was planning to hoodwink American citizens, the UN and congress with phony intel excuses, to fear monger, falsely connect Saddam and AL Qaida and use that as an excuse for what he was planning even before 9-11, to invade Iraq no matter what. Kerry has already admitted he made one big mistake in 2002, to trust a damn word Bush ever said. Kerry made a mistake, but he did not lie. He really was for making sure the inspectors searched the whole country for WMD under a very real threat of force. That is, if Saddam had banned inspectors from the royal palaces, then use the force. That's all. He suspected Bush might break hyis word but he could not very well call Bush a liar before the fact, espcially after 9-11, so he gritted his teeth and decided to trust Bush. Which was a mistake. Many millions of people made the same mistake.
