Saddam gave the UN inspectors free rein to search anywhere they wanted. He was not giving Bush any excuse to invade, but Bush did anyway. Why? Because all along he was planning to and didn't give a damn if Saddam had WMD or AL Qaida contacts. He just wanted to invade. Bush has still not told us the truth about why he invaded Iraq. It was all lies and excuses. So what is the truth? We can only guess. Oil? Oil? More oil? Halliburton profits? Exxon profits? Using the war to steal an election or two? What's your guess?
