Works fine for my purposes.

(Just don't allow people to post sound clips in posts).

Keep up the good work.

Hi Bob...Haven't had time to figure out how to use the feature yet, but loved your rant, and know we appreciate what you are doing here!! There are always those who will complain about something, or find something to complain about....

Be Happy is right! <gg>

Thanks!

SI Bob, I second Karen's comment. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this site. It really is the best place on the web to visit and converse with like minded souls.

I was curious about something and feel free to not answer if you like. Is SI profitable now? Does it earn enough money to continue being a viable entity far into the future with the limited adds you have?

Just curious....

If I couldn't fly by the seat of my pants and fix/tweak it along the way, I couldn't work as a programmer, and 90% of the features we have wouldn't exist.

I hadn't realized that your approach was intentional, either. That explains the instability during the redesign, which I found befuddling.

You know, or maybe you don't, "us" old-school professional programmers are accustomed to a standard where you don't go live until it's bug free and where you are paid to anticipate "fools," where, if you haven't gotten the few little kinks out of even a major effort within maybe an hour of going live, you've failed miserably.

I may be mistaken but I thought I pointed out that it was only partially done when implemented.

So if you're going to vary from that tradition, which is certainly your prerogative and somewhat understandable for small enhancements like the one for images, it might be wise to not only anticipate that reaction from the old-schoolers in the community, which you apparently did, but be reconciled to the reaction when you get it. We have in our community not only "fools" but former professionals.

I haven't tried this new feature. I don't anticipate a use for it. But I expect to use the imbedded image feature when it becomes available. I think that will be very useful. Thanks.

We have different approaches. And I am pretty good when it comes to looking at software interfaces and knowing where the fools will be resourceful. In any case it is a fun feature. Kudos....

I am glad that your code does not break end format coding in forward translation. And I recommend taking into account and allowing a leading http:// in the chart coding.
