A bill was passed last year, I believe, that would have significantly increased the manpower of the Border Patrol.

Unfortunately, only a small number of new Border Patrol officers were actually hired. I would prefer the Border Patrol officers be hired and trained. The purpose of the Guard is not border patrol. And the liberal politicians need to get out of the way and let the Patrol do its job.
