Demand will stagnate in the US -- it could fall but he degree of fall is debatable. Demand will largely come from a global shift away from a US centered economy. Innovation will be the driving force of the US economy -- brains and initiative. But make no mistake, the economy will stagnate for years under the pressure of depressed asset prices and higher inflation.
