The NY Times is the best newspaper in the country, easily. They have the highest journalist and credibility standards. The reason the rightwing continually attacks them (unfairly) is because their editorial page is usually more "liberal", though they also feature several top conservative opinionators, so it's hardly one-sided. As a balance the Wall Street Journal and Ny Post are both conservative. But the rightwingers will never mention that, will they? The only, and I repeat ONLY, major story the NY Times got wrong was when they believed Bush-Cheney-Rove's deliberate lying to them about WMD in Iraq which connects to the entire Valerie Plame CIA agent outing affair. The rightwing dominates radio and has the biggest and only biased network on TV, Fox News practiucally working for the rightwing White House. Theri cries of "liberal bias" in the media are outrageous since they have fixed the media to be more rightwing than it ever has been, too much so to allow for fair debate in most venues.
