Fox is being chided by the leftist candidate for being too soft on the US actions toward immigrants. This is an issue that needs to be looked at in context not only for the US but for the region. The Venezuala sickness fueled by oil is spreading in Latin America. Its original home was cuba and has now made its way to bolivia. Years of political and economic progress can go down the drain with this know nothing movement. Our minutemen hasten the process along for our southern neighbor. Some times safety valves are good things. Many of the immigrants working here now would want to go back if only they could reform their ways. Like us their political choices are not perfect but Fox, his successor and the conservatives are our best bet.
